How To Achieve The Best Twist Outs Ever

A lot of women wonder how to achieve the best Twist Outs. They want to know how to make their curls more defined, how to make them soft and how to make the hair shake with the wind. Well, I’m going to explain how to obtain the best twist out ever using my Curl Quench Hair Butter and Curl Define Curl Enhancing Gelly.

Step 1: Wash your hair and separate it into four sections.

Step 2: Apply Curl Quench Hair Butter or Curl Quench Coconut Moisture Milk to the hair as your moisturizer BEFORE applying the styling product.

Step 3: Take a small section of hair from the larger section.

Step 4: Comb through that section to ensure its detangled properly and spritz with water if necessary to ensure the hair is damp.

Step 5: Apply Curl Define Curl Enhancing Gelly to that section, smoothing the product through the hair ensuring proper coverage.

Step 6: Once the hair is covered with product, separate the small section into two pieces and begin twisting.

Step 7: When you get to the end of your hair, twirl it around with your finger for extra curl.

Step 8: Repeat.

Step 9: Allow the hair to dry completely. Sitting under a dryer is fine.

Step 10: Undo twists by untwisting from the END of the twist to avoid knots.

The key to achieving the best twist out:

  • Make sure the product is applied from the root all the way to the ends.
  • Make sure there is enough product on all the hair. If the product is white on your hair, you probably have a good amount of product applied.

To make your twist outs fuller, you can separate each twist additional times and use a pick to lift your hair at the scalp. This will give more fullness to your hair style.
